Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself in television. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. Her move to Texas for the purpose of pursuing a career as a physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last very long in Texas then moved to Orlando Florida where she experienced a variety of acting roles including local independent films and world-wide commercials. In spite of the minor parts, she realized that she was a performer with a love. Then she moved to New York and in 2001 she scored her first acting gig on the daytime soap All My Children as Rosa Santos. During the early part of 2000 She appeared on small part for JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was cast in her debut series role on The Mountain The Mountain, the short-lived drama on television.
